Index Update February 10 2026

SP500 still waiting near the 52 week high. It needs a significant catalyst to get it to move. The longer it stays here the more the probability of a resolution down than up.

DOW barely moving up. It is starting to feel a little heavy but the trend is still up for now.

The DOW transports that have led is slight weaker than the DOW as it closed below the close of yesterday. No sell signals yet.

DOW utilities finally seeing some signs of life. Consolidation pattern broken and new start of impulse to the upside. AI data power story seeing new life or safe trade rotation???

TLT following the move in the DOW utilities. Long long bond rates being priced in. Bad employment report expected later this week?

USD fading the dead cat bounce to the downside. Watch to see if the 52 week low holds.

COMPQ still on a short and intermediate sell signal, but also still holding close to the 52 week high.

Semis no waiting for what???? No sell signals yet.

Finanicals still on shor term sell signal. Intemediate sell signal setup again.

Energy sector seeing some modest profit taking. Still in an uptrend in all timeframes.

Gold short term sideways. Necessary move to allow the strong uptrend to be consolidated.

Short and intermediate term sell signals on consumer discretionary. Weak consumer Christmas sales numbers weighing on sector.

Russell 2000 waiting.

It is still about rotation into lagging sectors.
