The agriculture dept at the local university has discovered that
local soils in Houston provide an amazing growth medium. This is
especially true for weeds that fall into category 1001. Recent
investigations into other similar species has shown that competition
between plants is no longer for growth space but rather for the
nutrients to allow them to grow successfully.

Another weed that is extremely well established is experiencing
3000 hours per week of temporary sunlight. As the growing season
continues into March, our species should be experiencing 1200 hours,
which according to a gardener I know in the field shows excellent
growth for a species so newly introduced.

Has anyone discussed the reclaimation plans with the husbandman?
I am curious if it will be done in a steady consistent way or if
it will be invoked only when it seems appropriate... the last time
I spoke with the organizers they were trying to determine the most
effective plan of action.
