The rumor of an IBM Coproduction deal do not square with the huge options volume. We have volume in the past two or three days of 5,000 or more in all the 20, 25, 30 and significant volume in the further out strikes. People do not go that long for something so trivial. I think there is bigger news to come. I am also pretty sure that it has something to do with CPQ. My exit is at 35, which seems reachable in this nosebleed market.

Re: "AMD is a solid company with perhaps the best engineering minds in the world the money can buy!"

Wrong answer. Check out today's Wall Street Journal and you'll find AMD in with the laggards. This company is a joke because of Jerry Sanders and his move with IBM is yet another attempt to stave off forced retirement.

Addi - Re :"AMD is a solid company with perhaps the best engineering minds in the world the money can buy!"

Then I guess it takes a bunch of idiots to make a profit.

The best minds in the world are at AMD - and they can't make a profit!

AMD had to buy NexGEN just to get a working K6.
