Joe... No question is a stupid question. Basically Money Flow is an indicator that measures whether money is flowing in or out of a security. Signals are generated when there are divergences b/w the Money Flow and price. For example, when price is increasing while money is flowing out of a security, a warning of an impending collapse in the price of a stock is generated. When the price is trending downward while money is flowing into a security, it is signal that some savvy buyers are accumulating the stocks. Most proprietary technical analysis software has the indicator. Remember, no indicator is 100% reliable, and what works for one security may not work for another.
