George, for one thing, that would get the FCC really upset. The two combined would produce instant monopolies in the NIC and low-end networking business.

Coms is a $12 billion company even at this low valuation (350 * $35). It's not easy even for Intel to swallow it.

After said that, I think they make a perfectly good fit - being both strong in the commodity market. Let's go for it !
