Fuchi,
re:>>I noticed that it is much slower than my other 486 boards<<

After that experience i can see why! sounds like they were trying to pull a fast one. Very bad business practice.

Presently i have a mustang 534f with an overclocked 6x86 200 to 2*83MHz and it runs like a dream. When i had some problems setting it up i was able to call mtech directly and they helped me over the phone. The board ended up being OK, I just had it set up wrong. I can only presume their business practice and product quality have improved since your experience. If i would have known about your experience before i bought the 534F, i may have never considered it.

Thanks for clearing up my TXPro misunderstanding. I do appreciate all the help and insight on cyrix products and motherboards you have provided me and others.

thanks again,
steve h

Fuchi,

Thanks for response on the main Cyrix thread. I am going to buy yet another computer (for my wife's company) and this time I would like to get a higher bus speed MN. The last 2 I bought were FIC PA-2007 with M2-200.

I am looking at Mtech R581A and FIC PA-20012. I like the VIA chipsets, but I don't know anything about SIS 5591 which is in the Mtech board. But I like the choice of bus speeds. I will try to overclock PR-233 to 208 MHz 2 x 83.
