Skip, While waiting for your report, here are a few little tidbits that might interest readers of this thread.

I must confess that I was wrong when I said that no one had heard of Cathy Reese or Avalon Research. There are several references to them in the past on SI. Here are the items I have picked up. The following are companies that Dr. Reese has issued research reports on:

TCPI - techstocks.com

Best I can gather, the report was issued in late October or so and was enthusiastic about the company.

Closing prices around that time were about $18. Closing price today - 9 7/16.

CBMI - 10/8/97
techstocks.com

Rating was a "strong buy."
Closing price on 10/8/97 - 10 15/16
Closing price today - 9 5/8

ANGN - 7/31/97
techstocks.com

The report states: "...we would be buyers of ANGN at this time."
Closing price on 7/31/97 - 4 7/8
Closing price today - 2 1/2

These were all of the references that I found for Dr. Reese on SI. There were other references to Avalon Research feel free to check them out yourselves.

In any event, Dr. Reese has a less than stellar record of predicting stock movements and I certainly would not follow any of her recommendations.

Jim

You weenie, Tarzan did not say that to Jane. He was out late at night cheating on Jane with Dottie Macfartbrain. When he arrived home late & disheveled, Jane pointed an angry finger at him. He said he would have been home earlier if it were not for the fact that he didn't feel good - he had a really bad tummy ache and a fever. He didn't know what to do. Wishing to conceal his true reason for spending time with Dottie, he told Jane that his life was saved by the Chromatic Color Science Colormate, which correctly diagnosed his chromogenic disease that other tests had missed. Upon telling Tarzan of his chromogenic illness, Professor Macfartbrain also gave him a prescription of powdered rhino horn combined with coca paste. Due to their illicit relationship, Tarzan however, was only offered the powdered rhino horn, while Dottie consumed all of the coca paste. Although not cured of his chromogenic disease, Tarzan was able to satisfy both Dottie and still have enough stamina for Jane, therefore Jane suspected nothing after an evening of pure bliss.
