OK Larry, I won't back down, Although I do not follow every tid bit of news I will maintain my stance. My outside cursory reading and guessing if you will, still maintains that Iraq is being bullied for reasons that are not as they would appear at first or even second glance. Please understand that I am not exactly defending Sadam, but if I were an Iraqui citizen I think I would. Like it or not he is a leader, with guts and apparently not for sale. It has been my observation in the past to notice that the US Gov't is not keen on these types, for what would appear to me as obvious reasons. Today I read where the US was considering sanctions on nations that would not sign some kind of narcotic agreement. This sounds like a mother blaming her kid's troubles on his/her aquaintences. OT, but it somehow displays to me the twisted thinking that goes on. I suppose you would agree with that type of thinking as well. I actually have gained a touch of respect for Slick for not pulling the trigger for which I believe there is heavy pressure. I think that the military would love to have the people believe that there was such a thing as contained war.. They are even trying to sell it as virtually risk free. Tell that one to the parents of the pilot who died in the Gulf 2 weeks ago.Your military is killing your own people. Nice phrase,, "Friendly Fire". Some friend. So far you guys are digging up more Anthrax in your own back yard then in Sadam's. Another thing, Now all I hear on the news and some shows, (BTW. I don't view very much TV) is Anthrax , ETC. I see this as straight up fear mongering for profit. It feels like a sales pitch if viewed from my angle even when presented as a source of information. Half the crap they feed us is just one big infomercial IMHO. Actually I think the Muslims see it this way as well ,and that is one of their gripes with the Great American way.
