Hello All

I suppose everyone saw this Wednesday?

SOUTHERNERA RESOURCES LIMITED

- Klipspringer Project, Marsfontein Farm Mineral Rights Dispute
- Court Hearing Postponed Until Week of March 16, 1998
- Mining Starts at Sugarbird Blow, Treatment Plant Commissioning Underway

TORONTO, Feb. 25 /CNW/ - SouthernEra Resources Limited (SUF-TSE), reports
that a postponement has been granted in the application contesting certain
mineral rights on the Farm Marsfontein, part of the Company's Klipspringer
Project property holdings, and the location of the M-1 kimberlite pipe.
The application for final relief was to have been heard this week, but
the matter was postponed to the beginning of the week of March 16, 1998.
Elsewhere on the Klipspringer Property, mining of the Sugarbird Blow
deposit (100% SouthernEra), is underway with a stockpile of approximately
17,000 tonnes of kimberlite now extracted and awaiting processing. The
treatment plant is currently being commissioned using tailings material, and
kimberlite from the Sugarbird Blow is expected to be treated next week.
