Arbitrager's dream isn't that what you mean. If
you are saying that 1.7 million shares are short out of 4 million shares on this stock wouldn't it make sense for some fund to come in here and buy say 1 million shares. The cost would be say 13-16 million and profit from selling to the covering shorts. Forget the fundamentals just a squeeze play make a bundle and leave quickly.

If the shorts have 1/3 the float and Rice has the other 2/3, this makes for a Mexican Standoff. That is, Spanish Rice!

I don't know where you found your short info, but Mr. Pink must have loaded up recently. Short interest was only about 1/8 back in January.
