MOSCOW - President Boris Yeltsin rattled markets by abruptly leaving a
government meeting called to review Russia's performance on economic
reform and mete out possible ministerial changes. The Kremlin said
nothing was amiss and a reshuffle could come on Friday. Yeltsin, who
told the assembled ministers he might sack three of them, duly
resurfaced looking in good health later to meet Ukrainian President
Leonid Kuchma.
