Jim, I think Scott's motive may very well be to run GTIS into the ground. He has proven to be far from the professional you would expect in his position. Rather than counter the criticisms with personal attacks, he should be answering any valid questions or, at the least, addressing the misinformation he states has been running rampant here.

Nevertheless, I am not surprised. GTs professionalism became quite evident with the Microprose buyout attempt. Programming geeks, as a rule, know how to code great applications and games, but fail miserably at running a business. Of course, then there is Bill. ;-)

>>> Scott: why in the world would you take this lot on?

I mistakenly thought I could be of help here.

I mistakenly thought that SI would be smart enough to desire my presence here.

I thought telling people here about the possibility of a second movie we're working on, or new games yet unannounced, and correcting all sorts of misinformation I've seen, would be of value and interest to investors here--this would have been my way of helping out. (None of these items, despite what some here may think, are inside info. Those who think so *cough*Victoria*cough* need to educate themselves further on what true inside information really is. <g>)

If SI doesn't think it's worth having me here for free, then I'll concede they know their members' needs best.

My membership expires in a few days, at which time if anyone has a legitimate question they may reach me at scottm@3drealms.com, and my answers can be reposted here if useful.
