Excellent post Scott. You're absolutely right. I have seen established companies give out more song and dance. But then they're listed stocks so it's ok.

People, this is a BB stock...any P/E automatically puts it into the highest echelon of BB stocks.

You're right, Scott! People should not be in BB stocks unless they have the perseverance to do the research and the knowledge of how to find good companies.

Most people want the profits that come from good BB stocks, but they don't have an understanding of the entrepreneurial spirit it takes to see a small business through the growing pains. They think successful investing is making 20% or 30% return on their money in a year.

I have started, grown, and sold 4 successful businesses in the past 20 years. I love to grow businesses, but I get bored with continuing management. So I grow them and sell them. Now, I'm 44 and retired here in Arizona (until I get the itch to do another one <g>).

I relate to what Ira goes through every day. The dynamics of small, rapidly growing businesses are not for the weak-hearted.

If your stomach gets upset easily, don't ride the roller-coaster.

Do yourself a favor and do something "safe."

Sure, anybody can complain about BB stocks because 95% of the time, BB stocks will cost you money. I say, "Cut the complaining and go do something that suits your comfort level."

Enough said.

Best wishes to all,
Brad
