Some analysts pointed out that Intel's success would depend on AMD K6 yield failure. The 1% yield on .25u K6 news has send INTC to 90s as the market responded to this reasoning.

AMD was up on the rumor that AMD is to expand the K6 production in IBM ME. If the deal went through and became the news, then, the K6 outputs would be significantly increased no matter what deals that AMD get from IBM ME. Thus, the chain reaction of the "news" on the success of K6 is to damage Intel's success.

Any of you miss the up on AMD should have the chance to catch INTC down before the market figure out "what's next".

Boy oh Boy,

Leave it to sore losers, such as yourself, to try and turn good news or even good rumors into bad news. And by the way, StockMoron, Paul Engel, and Elmer Fudd, regarding improved yields, I don't mean to brag but "I TOLD YOU SO." So for everyone on this thread who have been trying to tell you for days, you negative naysayers don't know $h!+ about AMD!
