Dell trades at 35 times book. DELL is now valued at nearly CPQ market cap. Dell is now valued at about half of IBM's and At&T values. Dell is valued at 85% of Boeing. More than double that of Texaco and nearly double of Oracle. $40 times the value of MUEI, with only 10 times the sales.

Dell is valued at over 7 times GTW.

With the exception of GTW and MUEI, all of the above companies have earned 1B in a single year in their history, while Dell has not. (Yet, I'll concede.-g)

Even though I am short DELL, I thought a little perspective is needed amongst this euphoria, which is quite understandable for the longs.

Now come on longs, even you must admit we are approaching valuations where the "Risk"/reward ratio starts to escalate.

Good Trading, LF

Ben Hines,
Hi!! Yes, you can qualify as one of the funny and obnoxious Dellheads!!! The thread is full of them that believed such a short time ago...and to think....this IMO is just the infancy...

Having driven friends, relatives, colleagues and students crazy with a 24 smile...I stopped counting at 50(the number of people that have bought Dell on account of my obnoxious behavior...we have almost an entire dept. here at the school in on Dell...the easiest way to convince them to invest is ask them if they trust the govt. for their retirement??? We have a retirement system but, not too many teachers are counting of that doing much for them with the increase in taxes...and probably the easiest way to convince them is to show them a copy of my high school grades...If I can do it...they surely can.

Congratulations on the early choice of Dell...Buy More and you'll be amazed at where this stock is going...Dell is..."going forward".
Best, Kemble
