Dear Mark

AT the opening CPQ felt due to a downgraded. But Merrill Lynch disagreed and is maintaining its buy rating Compaq and after that news the stock moved up and felt again.

What is going on with brokers?

Mark and thread:

Don't have time to post much but here is a prediction: CPQ is 50 by July 30, 1998. Anyone wants to bet a six-pack of their favorite beverage just say so. This short-term worrying is crazy. BTW, just read an article stating CPQ has increased 18 fold since '92. This stock has been, is, and will continue to be a great investment. People worried about short-term swings should keep their money stuffed in their mattress.

Mark...you hit the nail dead on the head with that post! Lucy shot her mouth off and that was the beginning of the end for CPQ. Lucy has lost credibility. S.
