Obewon: Gardner is a jerk. He is comparing Apples to Oranges. CPQ is no longer like a DELL. As a matter of fact stephen on this thread posted where this same guy as early as a month ago was urging people to short DELL (per the SB weekly magazine).

He has no credibility as far as I'm concerned. Until proven otherwise,
I will simply say (as I did to MY broker (SsB) today), to paraphrase myself,
"look Tony, you guys are pulling a stunt, right? to lowball this and get it on the cheap? right?" His answer to me was ---- "no answer".

Obewon - I think the margin advantage is due to CPQ's dominance in high end servers/options. The guy quoted is saying that Dell is more efficient on the PC side, due to it's advantages with the direct model.
