<<Do you think it will drop under $20 again ??>> Mark, I really don't have a clue, though, if history repeats itself their warning will not be as bad as the real truth is, so there will be two hits. I'd wait on buying into VLSI until I had a clear picture of what was going on. I'd also be careful on buying into any questionable tech stocks until at least end-April. My feeling is the air is going to come out of this tech stock rally at the end of this quarter and it won't pick up again until late summer. There are going to be some serious shortfalls in earnings and revenues as a result of Asian mess and this will lead to a bout of "how bad is it?", "how long will it last", "the end is near", doubt for a while.

in december vlsi said this quarter would be not that bad amonth later its a disaster- no visibilty -klic has some big ticket items- a cancellation or if ordered pushed out would hurt-the company did not comment about profitabilty-i've been to a lot of tech conference and i have never seen one management say anything bad- klic down today on a strong day -klic is highly cyclical business and i've been in and out of the company since 1995 and like vlsi management think they know the future but they really don;t. amat, the big daddy, came out after close and said that they would close shop for 12 days this year not because of just of the asia crisis but also fundamental problems elsewhere-first time they have done this in years-its getting worse rather than better- don't believe any these semi companies right now they don;t whats going to happen next week -no visibility=bad things-
