Dave,

It isn't a slam, but an observation. I am not attacking Chen or Kertzman but the structure of the deal. I don't think that any ship
runs well with two commanders. If Kertzman were doing a good enough job however, they wouldn't be talking about two CEO's. I can't comment on how well Kertzman is doing, but I think it is obvious that there is a problem here or they wouldn't have had to restructure the executive suite. I don't think anyone can make a case that when changes are made at the top it is an indication that the top level managers are doing a great job.

I respect Sybase as a company. I mean no disrespect to Chen or Kertzman, but I have the right to make such an observation.
