Teledesic launched first test satellite on Wednesday. Commercial service still scheduled to begin in 2002. Arnie, this gives you a few more years to buy into the idea of the Nextel / Nextlink / Teledesic / Boeing "cooperative" (You may already be softening to the idea ?)

Ron: All in the past, I was left out of this run up, I loose, you guys win. I'm truly happy for you all. I'll buy back in when the stock retracts enough.

Ron: the post that your answered was not supposed to be taken seriously. Ed appears to like the short side, me, no. However, last time Nextel jumped like this, it jumped the opposite way shorty thereafter. I would feel much better if Nextel gradually ran up, lets say, 1/4 point per day. Take a look at PA or KBL, view their charts, that's the way I would like Nextel to behave. Last year when Nextel ran up to 32, that's the way it went, gradual. Big jumps are scary, as Ed says, the gaps have to fill.

I pulled out of Nextel when it was flat and went into MSFT and others.
I'm still in MSFT, even though I'd rather be in Nextel and share the glory. Obviously, you can tell from prior posts, that, I wouldn't intentionally miss a celebration, just never picked Nextel to jump this high, so fast. Hey, what can I say.

Regards from
Al G., still at the station when it comes to Nextel, as the train left.
