i pulled an article i clipped from ibd, from about two years ago, your studies are in conjunction with the study that was conducted then, the article further went on to state that stocks up more than 10 percent i n one day also followed the patterns, the study indicated the strongest plays, as i believe you did , were the ones coming off a base pattern with strong earnings growth, less than 15m shares, the avg was 55m. the study also eliminated any gaps that were caused by brokerage recommendations. stocks with triple digit percent earnings growth in the last two qtrs rose 75 percent in three months, while the avg was about 36 percent rise in price in three months time for those that did not have triple digit earnings growth.
