Steve,

Great point. I love TI as a long term holding and firmly believe that it will outperform over the next 5 to 10 years. However short term it may be getting ahead of itself. I think we should all be cautious about the effect of 1Q numbers. Things are a little slow right now and the likely scenario for 1Q is meeting earning estimates on decreased or flat revenues. I don't think this will cause a buying frenzy by any means.

My point is Kurlak said sell at 40 and my M.L. broker said get out at 45 because of Kurlak and his superior knowledge of TI which he continues to confuse with MU---however he did say to buy VLSI.I think his tips are overrated if not incompetent.
