I'm not sure how to interpret this... Its good news as far as Cost cutting and focusing their Software development into One direction and
Bad news as far as Newton/eMate fans. Maybe He's getting the Bad news out of the way first!...

Hey! someone must have been listening when I described how I would rebuild a Mac about a month ago. "MacLite - Compact all-in-one with a nice LCD screen and simple easy to use OS... the same features that made the Mac SE so popular years ago..Oh my God, did I just describe the Newton!"

I guest the Newton wasn't close enough to the model. They had to make one Mac-compatible. I wonder what kind of software it would run? It would be great to use my older Mac software on a handheld!
