Just heard a rumor (not validated yet), but could someone on the group check this out.

All the Orbcomm satellites have some serious mechanical and electrical problems. It seems they lost some of them already.

What ever happened to the launch with 8 ORBCOMMS in Feb 98???

Did it get postponed or cancelled?? I see no indication
that any launch soon will carry more than 2 ORBCOMMS now!

Angelo

This site says 8 ORBCOMMS were supposed to go up 15 FEB!

But it did not! We launched 8 ORBCOMMS in the last couple months,
2 more ORBCOMMS early this month, and were were supposed to
launch 8 more on the 15th FEB. Did this actually go up?
I thought this was postponed due to the weather!

There should be 18 ORBCOMMS in orbit, but there are only 10 now!

What happened? Did I miss something?
