Peter, Without going into detail about the size of LGND's move, today is the deadline for the LLY decision, and buyers are out early.
(LGND is not currently trading in the 14's)

Peter, I hesitated to post this as I had hoped that there would be an update, so as not to mislead the thread, LGND's bid is back down to 14 3/4's (LGND is currently trading in the 14's).

BTW, DELL up $4 :-)

I'll second that. I remember when Usenet was so small that you could read all the news in all groups every morning. And it didn't take more than 15 minutes or so. I'm not even close to Bernie's age either! At the time, things worked pretty well. People posted questions and got answers. The flamefests we see now were pretty rare and things were really quite nice.

Let all these past disagreements lie and let's get on with it.

Don't start getting frisky on us now.... :-)

By the way, Hawaii is much the same. Except that it tends to be like that about 360 mornings of the year :-) I just bought a house high up on a ridge and I have a perfect view of Diamond Head, Honolulu and the ocean. Just about all the way from Koko Head to the Waianaes. Quiet neighbourhood and lots of birds. And it is wonderfully cool every morning....

Cheers, Torben
