NEW YORK, Feb 27 (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley Dean Witter
said analyst Tom Kraemer resumed coverage of the server
hardware industry.
-- International Business Machines Corp (NYSE:IBM) was rated
neutral, with earnings estimates of $6.49 per share for 1998
and $7.98 for 1999. IBM was off 5/16 at 105-1/4.
-- Hewlett-Packard Co (NYSE:HWP) was rated outperform, with
EPS estimates of $3.41 for 1998 and $4.01 for 1999.
Hewlett-Packard was up 2-1/2 at 67-5/8.
-- Lexmark International Group Inc (NYSE:LXK) was rated
outperform, with a 1998 EPS estimate of $2.74. No 1999 estimate
was available. Lexmark was up 3/8 at 43-1/4.
-- Silicon Graphics Inc (NYSE:SGI) was rated neutral, with EPS
views of a loss of $0.05 per share in 1998 and a profit of
$0.39 in 1999. Silicon Graphics was up 1/16 at 15-3/16.
-- Sun Microsystems Inc (NASDAQ:SUNW) was rated a strong buy,
with EPS views of $2.38 for 1998 and $2.94 for 1999. Sun was up
1-1/16 at 48-1/16.
Also, analyst Chuck Phillips initiated coverage of Network
Associates (NASDAQ:NETA) with an outperform rating, EPS views of
$2.40 for 1998 and $3.15 for 1999 and a $78 price target.
Network Associates was up 5/16 at 65-1/8.
