[ NEPF ]

Thanks for posting the link. I follow Abella on a daily basis, just as he follows biotech contributors at SI. Today's "Interpreter" is, IMO, the best yet. Love his comments about Drake's picks and Crossen's '97 (ABTI???, geze), but...... regarding Drake/Vector..... fact is, it paid last year to pick the entrenched companies. John Wong is a good, long-time friend of mine. Glad to see that he was last year's champion, even if it didn't take particularly great performance to have won.

Jay used to post here at SI. I think he may have gone largely to a lurking mode, but I haven't checked. He at least stopped posting to one thread that I follow.

SUPG.... I don't consider it to be a biotech, but..... it keeps hitting my radar again and again.

Thanks for the thanks. I was hot there for a couple of days. Sigh.

Cheers! Rick

[ Reversal Scan ] NEPF.

I checked with John Hunt since he wrote this one and
he OK'd me posting the results.

It was set up for issues over 5.00 and I dropped the range
and converted it to QPlus Rev 2-32.
It may not be as accurate on ones under 5.00 but see
what you think.

It pulled some Familiar ones like BJCT, GOTH, II, NAFI.

I think that SUPG is a company that has great management. The founder of Amgen knows how to make a biotech company grow and succeed. And with an experienced board they are bound for success. My guess is that they are trying to become profitable as soon as possible by producing generic drugs. This will give them a steady cash flow to fund the expensive trial on their hopeful blockbuster drugs...thus they won't need to seek additional funding. Instead of spending a lot of $ on doing there own research, I think they license out technology from smaller biotech companies in need of funding. It has been a while since I looked @ the company, but I hope that this helps.

Another promising biotech company is LGND, they are supposed to file an NDA this quarter and they have many collaborations with major Pharmaceuticals. They are expected to be profitable by next year. SI has a very good thread if you want more info.

Best of Luck Trading,

Where'd He Go?
