Greg,
<<Why don't you come and visit the Little town of Nus, Italy just outside of Milano, Italy, if you want to learn how to make wine!>>
Been there(Italy several times)done that! Actually, Italy is my favorite place to visit. The food, ambiance, wine, art and lifestyle is the best in Italy. As you know the Italians taught the French how to cook and make wine.If only they knew how to run a country...oh well.
<<IBM deal does'nt go into production untill THURD Quarter. So one and two will do What?? If you have an answer so for you have not answered
by last questions about your system's forcast for earnings>>
My system does not attempt to forecast earnings. Most professionals cannot forecast earnings accurately since the high tech area is so volatile. The company had already announced months ago that Q1 & Q2 were losers and all the reasons for it. The price reflected that knowledge yet AMD bears continued to predict further declines "because yields were low and Q1 & Q2 would have negative earnings".This is an indication to me that it was sold out. Furthermore during the January selloff AMD declined only slightly. This is further evidence that the stock is sold out. In such a situation a look at the asset values would lead a dispassionate observer to conclude that the downside risk was quite limited. While there are no guarantees certainly the probability that you could get a low risk entry for a stock with pretty good upside was high and as an investor/speculator that's as good as you can get.By the time the earnings turnaround is actually evident the stock will have moved up substantially.
