TyR, Matt and taoman:

Good job of recapitulating the conference call info!

It is safe to say that the ramp-up of IAIC's infrastructure is still in progress. More aggressive hiring of IT professionals, a powerful and strengthening relationship with CA, building demand for its Y2K products and services and solid post-year 2000 strategy.

Sandy said in the CC that IAIC had turned away some migration/conversion business just to concentrate on clients' Y2K requirements due to the time constraints of Y2K. Sandy also said that there will be an "avalanche of opportunities over the next few months."

I was VERY IMPRESSED with the professional way that Sandy and Kevin handled the presentation and Q&A's.

I also liked what Sandy said about CA & CSC. If the buyout goes through he predicts that IAIC will be a beneficiary of CSC's Y2K consulting business.

Regards.

Elliot

Taoman:

Some points:

RE your #4: Kevin also addressed the integration between UNICAST and the data dictionary or encyclopedia of the 4GL briefly. This is a key point, most other tools, esp. PC based, don't do this. Only IAI with it's close connection to CA has the data and rights to do this.

RE 3Q for growth explosion? Perhaps, but at the rate of growth of last quarter it could be 2Q as well IMO. The centralized nature of processing opportunities from 2000 CA sales reps worries me. Other than that things might be moving faster. I hope the other factories move online quickly to eliminate this.

RE 1.50 for migration work: IAI is processing Y2K as a higher priority than migration work. Migration usu. means CLIENT SERVER DOWNSIZING from mainframes. It can also mean same platform, new language, such as COBOL to COBOL II Migration involves a larger percentage of LOC changed, As an example every SQL statement may need tweaked to run on the new DBMS. Just more detail here...

All in all: I think this quarter may be it, or may not, and we should watch carefully.
