megs, you are closer. the sad thing is that they've raped muei in order to do that "well." asps still near or below gross costs. expect a sizeable loss next q also.

I spoke to investor relations today. The company will know by the 13th exactly what day during the week of the 16th that earnings will be announced. MORE IMPORTANTLY, AMY IN INVESTOR RELATIONS TOLD ME THE STREET IS EXPECTING A LOSS BETWEEN -.20 AND -.30. This was surprising, since the current mean on first call is -.15. I THINK MU IS TRYING TO SOFTEN THE BLOW OF WHAT WILL BE A DISASTEROUS REPORT. I THINK THE LOSS COULD BE -.40.
