So? Barrett's three predecessors as CEO (actually, I think Barrett is COO, at least for now): Robert Noyce, Gordon Moore and Andy Grove are all Phd EE's. They brought the company pretty far, I would say. From Paul's description of Barrett's accomplishments at Intel, I don't think he's going to screw anything up (understatement of the year).

I appreciate Paul's posts and can't believe the wealth of knowledge he shares so willingly. It's important for investors to hear what people are thinking. People make the market by making decisions based on their hopes and fears. Knowing how you think about what's happening with Intel helps others make decisions.
