Took Courage...!

Actually considering what SGI has done to research analysts in the last few years...Consider any following a plus...

Remember they aren't taking too much risk, with a NEW CEO, SGI has at least 2 qtrs or more to change directions before they get hammered...

So there is time to sit back and relax, unless the market tanks in the next few weeks... Then you will have another buying opportunity..

regards

someone just sent me an "IRIX" on merced Tshirt. along with a garbeled message about there being one more MIPS processor after the R12K. and my barber was complaining about the extremly agressive pricing planned for the VisualPC. he's in the market for a four processor Octane with infinitereality graphics. seems he likes the idea of 64Mb of texture memory too. if Morgan is right: biz.yahoo.com and 98' is just a five cent per share loss, all these developments should put SGI on top in 99' with 39 or even 40 cents a share profit. this is the year for cheap cigars. so has anyone seen SGI marketing folk scouting out locations for VisualPC Emporiums? i strongly suspect that the curse of premium pricing is broken, and the company is going to move some volume.
