PARIS, Feb 19 (Reuters) - U.S. giant Dell Computer Corp (Nasdaq:DELL) , the world's third-biggest seller of personal computers, said it plans to make 50 percent of its sales via its Internet site within three years.

Jan Gesmar-Larsen, President of Dell Europe, Middle East and Africa, told Reuters the Internet sales would help Dell reach its goal of becoming the number one personal computer group in 2000, ahead of Compaq (Nyse:CPQ) and Hewlett Packard (Nyse:HWP) .

Remember Dell just moved from #5 to #3.

Also don't read too much into my last post, just the words...there's nothing between the lines. <G>
