Wager? Yes definitely - I have placed bets on your side. Another suggestion - by the next downturn, not only can you short DRAMs, but you can also short the foundry guys big times too. Taiwanese are notorous for booming and busting and they are sure to drive the foundry business down to the bottom by 2001. In the US, that means shorting TSM.

meg, i bookmarked your post. no need to wait until 2002. we'll see if mu is making money toward the end of this year. i think they'll be lucky to be near breakeven.
