I think that Peter did a poor job with the new servers. From the various complaints here he should by now have figured out that a HTML page with 100 embedded bitmap pictures does not work that well with todays internet. It is no problem on an intranet with response time in the millisecond range. But over the internet with response times of more than 100 milliseconds the user is just sitting there and wondering where his quotes got lost while the various backbone network routers are talking to themselves while processing several hundred HTML request packets. The page on the new servers would work much better if there was just one link for news, charts etc. instead of providing a link for each quote which just clutters up the screen and drastically increases the average response time of the servers.
