IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 1998--Powerwave Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:PWAV) Friday announced that it
has entered into a global purchasing agreement covering land mobile radio products with Tecnomen Oy, a leading European
manufacturer of wireless communications equipment, to supply RF power amplifiers for use with Tecnomen's wide area paging base
station equipment. This agreement, which includes Powerwave's 150 watt and 300 watt RF amplifiers, is expected to result in initial
deliveries during the second quarter of 1998. No dollar value was placed on the agreement. "Powerwave is proud to announce our
new relationship with Tecnomen," stated Bruce C. Edwards, president and chief executive officer of Powerwave Technologies. "This
agreement represents our continued success in the Land Mobile Radio market as well as the diversification of our global customer
base." "Powerwave's advanced high quality amplifiers complete very well our state-of-the-art HiQ Paging Base Stations product line.
We selected Powerwave due to their experience, professionalism and commitment to quality," stated Seppo Seitsonen, vice

Did you take a look at the Upside Magazine article...I am looking for more upside at least until earnings in April.
