Rob ...

Let's hope the probable small loss which we have said many times will likely be reported next month will be properly determined for what it is, an IMPROVING trend. Our true sights should be firmly focused on the second half of 1998 when we may begin to see figures in the black on the bottom line. That means it may be early in November before the real value of CYI begins to show through. If the fast increasing sales and earnings are what we should probably expect, from mid-year on things should get moving price-wise (assuming the market predicts in advance). Sure would like to see a solid test of the 7+ area by the end of the year or early next. But, this will only be revealed in the fullness of time. My main bet is on 1999. If we were to project a 50% or better sales rate leading up to that year, we could easily end up in double digits as we enter 2000. May the FORCE be with us!

Jim

Rob, I have about acclomated my thinking to flat or a small loss for the 4thQ. I don't believe the stock will suffer much unless the loss is a lot more than any of us thought all along. I'm hoping it is not!
If, as Jim says, that it is a trend of less loss and some big guns fired on announcements of contracts for the PCMobile and HOPEFULLY some surprise from the XL division as well as some of the other lines Cycomm has in the water such as Matra in Europe,[which we have heard nothing from at all], SLICE, etc. etc, then maybe it will indeed be minimal.
I see the Yahoo thread and there appears to be a few there who are knowledgable about what is going on but you are right the whole thread has sunken to a new low with the self promotion of WRCKingman whoever he is. I will admit he does have a following!!
