Well one thing we can look foward too then is that all these recs have been made without the consideration of that report filed publiclly and in a pretty obscure location at that. ie It has not been picked up by the National Wires at this point....or even had time to have been verified or checked out by these analysts....in my mind I doubt they have seen it.

I don't know if you saw the tail end of the report..there was a comment about when Leach received it...and when it was going to be released to the public. And when they did they burried it.

BTW that was a keyword search "online banking" under newsgroups.

I saw a lot of potential for inexperienced first time banks going to an Industry leader like Integrion/Checkree with a turnkey plugin solution vs. setting up their own on site commerce server and then having to deal with all the security issues and other associated problems. I might be reading a little bit too much into it, but if that many are comming in such a short period of time, 'turnkey plugin' would seem to be a little better than 'reinvent the wheel'

Brooks, I would be an ideal candidate for on-line banking according to these reports but I have absolutely no interest in the service. Why? Because I can use bank by phone and do everything I want to do at 1/3 the price. For me, it would have to be cheaper and offer an automatic tie-in to check writing to make sense. Bankers are notorious for chanrging for everything so I doubt I will use for quite some time. Having said all this, I do believe that eventually a compelling on-line application will be delivered at the right price and this is why I believe Checkfree is a good stock.

I also can't understand all of this talk about Microsoft - bankers are very leary of them and would not IMO give them access to their customer base no matter what.
