In addition, recent data from leading market research firm Dataquest shows Internet Explorer's market share increasing quickly, and, according to the Dataquest report, is expected to move into the number one spot by the second quarter of 1998. Microsoft working with leading search engine companies in the U.K. is a direct response to feedback from British Internet users. Under the terms of the agreement, Infoseek will place a download button for Internet Explorer on its top U.K. channel pages. This agreement strengthens existing partnerships with Microsoft that include several promotional and revenue sharing arrangements.
