Alan,

<<A blessing in disguise or a blown opportunity?>>

I guess we will find out on Monday. <g>

I set up a spreadsheet, and I'm calculating the average closing price for ANCR since February 23rd. (If that isn't the right starting date, someone let me know.) So far, including today's close, the average closing price is $7.80, so the conversion price would still be at $12. The day to day price swings won't affect the average enough to change conversion brackets, at least for a while.

Craig

Alan,

This Seagate news release is interesting because it talks about Europe catching up with the US in Fibre Channel over the next year. There were questions during the conference call about Japan and Asia, but I don't recall any about Europe. I ALWAYS think of a bunch more questions after the call is over. <g>

Here are a couple of quotes:

"Fibre Channel is now being successfully used in a wide range of high bandwidth solutions, such as video production, document imaging, film post production work groups, oil and gas exploration, data warehousing and health services, to name a few."

"It is expected that Europe will catch up dramatically with the USA in Fibre Channel deployment over the next 12 months."

We really haven't talked about health services much, other than medical imaging. I wonder if there are some untapped opportunities in that field too?
