Ok. Dumb question alert from a long-term-only investor.

Does the increase in shorts involve people following Candlestick's advice that the stock would hit 30 and now the shorting investors must pay the difference as their option expires?

Just curious.

Mexico is going to be interesting. This delay in announcements tells me the bidding is continuing.
