Rene,

Hope you don't mind my jumping in. The info on trades is entered by highlighting the stock in the left window, click Security then New Transaction.

An other tip, when working off line, bring up the program and do not enter user information, just click OK. As soon as it comes up click the Suspend all Updates button on then off again. This prevents an update and loss of last price info. I always save the portfolio with the Update button OFF.

Make sure that you save the portfolio after each change and frequently during the day. I have had cases where updates stop mid-day and I need to restart WSX. I am running IE3.02 and Windows on Wall Street at the same time and both have their problems <g> so I do not know which is cause. I just shut down all and restart.

Good luck,

Bob
