Rob-Some conjectures:
1.Pino is probably restricted by the company's lawyers from saying
too much until the facts come to light.
2.I sold some stock about 10 days ago to reduce the risk of a bad
earnings report(obviously,I did not sell enough).Other investors
probably did the same a few days before the announcement.
3.If a massive amount of inventory was stolen(e.g. $20 million)
it seems inconceivable that some employees would not have
noticed the theft, even if the inventory was stolen over a 3 month
period.
4.If the company did not use FIFO accounting when costing its
inventory something smells.
5.Management needs help(I am being kind). However,Pino controls the
fate of the company, and if the pressure gets intense he could sell
the company at something more than $12 a share.
6.If Pino was a crook he would have sold-off some shares in the
last 6 months. He has not.Has he ever sold any shares?
A class action suit has been filed. No surprise.I would assume that
the internal and external auditors are working this weekend.
Your thoughts?

David
