I find the Dito announcement to be a wee bit more than coincidental coming on the Friday before earnings. People forget that the short game on a small float stock can be played nasty from the long side as well. Particularly by people familiar with what the numbers are going to be. Longs with deep pockets (including Radica) can make short butts twitch when they want to tighten the vise. My bet is that we're going to get analyst coverage after this report and the half-baked short position is going to crumble from its lack of true DD. What's in it for the brokerage house would be a small secondary offering later in the year that would be viewed very bullish, IMO, by the street at that point in time.

Chaz,

This is unlikely. Most pro's won't execute trades during the first 1/2 hour of the day and during the final 15 minutes. Those trades are almost always amateurs. The ones to watch are the ones in between. Especially late morning and early afternoon between 2pm-3:30pm. That's when most program trades kick in.

Hank

Chaz...I don't think that was the case. I was watching the tape in the last few minutes and there were a series of trades at 18 all spaced just seconds apart from one another. This was more than likely the buy stops placed by various shorts in the stock as 17 3/4 and 17 7/8 was serious resistance. That last trade at 18 1/8 was probably just a spillover from the buy stops. This baby is going to rock and roll Monday. This is where us investors will make up ground on Hank for the year.

Roger

The market was 18 bid by Troster and 18 1/8 Offered a few seconds after the close. All the 18 offerings were taken on the close. Tomorrow i can tell you how many traded at 1/8 if your interested.
