Someone recently said that OPEC's acting less and less like a cartel and more and more individual countries. In 1973, when they had a strangle-hold on everyone, they had much more clout with their combined power.

With foreign currencies and small governments in crisis, the oil-machine is the only source of income, and they'll do anything to avoid revenue loss. Or so the conventional wisdom goes...
