More items from the meeting: * Frank is looking for some well-known management types to take over leadership of FNet as it spins off (great question Raleigh!) * Lots of questions about lack of PR. Peter Thornton, Tom Russell and Helen all talked throughout the day about their confidence in the new PR firm to turn this around. * BTW, the actual meeting lasted two minutes, all proxy items passed. Then we swamped the leaders for answers to the real questions. Somewhat difficult for all to hear so Frank reconvened an informal meeting before us going back to swarming again. So, I hope all who attended add their two cents here because none of us got to hear all. * Rough estimate of attendees is 100-150. * Expect to know about NASDAQ in about a week per Tom. He has answered all of their questions he is aware of. The sub 5 dollar price could be a issue but who knows where we will be a week from here. * Great to actually see so many SI members in the flesh, hope to meet more tonight in the bar. Raleigh, Seth, Snake, River Rat, Vic, Cindy, Russ, Gary, Lee and many, many others are here. * Frank is talking with other carriers about doing business (hope someone else will expand here) LCI looks like it is next, but also talking to uunet, MCI and others. * Tour was great!
