actually barbara...it is the S&P 500 versus the Dow 30 that has the divergence of importance to me....especially since this was the last day of the month to "deploy" (using a Judy term) funds...

folks ....be careful what you say...you never know when you might be quoted in street.com..especially if you frequent the strictly drilling thread...ROFL...

btw,you might be surprised at some of the people that lurk on this thread.....I was....but that doesnt stop me from being my irrepressible self!!!!! Of course that is probably why they email me....to find out just how weird I truly am....

Big Dog, you've been quoted by TheStreet.com!!!! You're a big insider now with ALL
the skinny on this sector :-).

From TheStreet.com<<Rumor from Silicon Investor -- expect an announcement
Friday or Monday that will likely depress the drillers. The poster knows of what he
speaks: In the same message he predicted a "high level" drilling company exec may
leave his company to "pursue other opportunities." He may have had the wrong
segment but the right information: A late afternoon press release from Cabot Oil and
Gas said its CFO Edgar J. Milan has resigned to "pursue other interests>>
