Hi folks, I'm new to this company and I am curious what is driving the recent interest. I've been going over their press releases for the past year and things seem to be getting better with every quarter. The latest release I've seen is dated January 5/98, and speaks about record sales for 1997. They state that audited sales and earnings figures will be completed by mid-January....Is this what is driving the current interest? Have there been any releases since January 5th? I have also seen many references to negotiations with several major chain stores with regard to new products shown at the automotive trade show in November. Has anyone spoken to management and heard anything about some of these negotiations coming to fruition? I notice that Bob mentioned Pep Boys and Radio Shack....are these done deals? I also read something about an exclusive manufacturing contract with one of the largest suppliers of Neon accessories in China. Does anyone know the magnitude of this deal? I'm just wondering if we are profiting from cheap imported goods due to the problems that Asian countries are facing lately. Thanks and good luck. Tim.
