So, you all believe that the ORCL CEO/CFO were misleading investors by giving wrong forecasts one month before the earning release.
Things are getting more and more interesting.
Let's see.

I would imagine gossip is a little choppy. If 25% (or more) of your town owns ORCL stock, it has been a pretty ugly ride in recent months. It would have made me a little grumpy.

In contrast I have arrived to this company @21 avg cost and continue to accumulate shares. To me the glass is half full. I cannot guess when the earnings will accelerate........but it seems likely to me and I will have significant exposure. Best of luck to all in evaluating this situation. Egg

>>There's lots of ORCL gossip around town - you can hear it in restaurants, stores and even in gas stations. None of the gossip has been upbeat in the last few days.<<

I live in the Silicon Valley too! Here are the facts not gossips that
have been talked about this week around here:

1. Both ORCL and IFMX have re-priced stock-options for their key
employees -- I think this is a good strategy for both companies
to keep good people due to the abundance of good jobs
around here.

2. SYBS cut 10% of the work force and re-focused their database
strategy -- I wonder if ORCL has gained market share against
SYBS and is causing them severe headache??

Thanks for ORCL info., ORCL is going to test $19 again if missing 20c target, then discouraged bulls and happen bears will let ORCL stay
at $19 range far a while. It is bad sign for ORCL to go down on the end of the quarter, someone must got earning number figuered out and decide to dump the ORCL.

I live in the Silicon Valley too! In the last few days, I am only
hearing that ORCL and IFMX re-priced stock options for all key employees; I think this is a good strategy due to the current
extremely tight job market here. The other new was that SYBS cut
10% of the work force... maybe ORCL is getting some of their
market share and is causing them severe headache??

Steven-

Please don't be short on 3/14... its gonna be painful.

As for your rumors... save it.

I'm sure the "shorties" are gonna have a lot to say before the earnings announcement. If you don't cover before then, you and your 20 million friends are going to feel the wraith of the.....

P.S. Let me be the first to thank you in advance for your cash when you finally do decide to cover.
