Your short list looks a lot like Roger's ...

I am in LA, and lately the El Nino has been pounding me hard,
try to live in a cardboard in this environment is suicidal,
just like shorting AOL at 70 ...

Anyways, I am surprise you include DELL on your list ...

Wish you a very nice weekend and happy trading next week...

Why bother shorting DELL?

Granted, it's valuation is extreme and presupposes the best of all possible economic scenarios in the next few years, but there is no doubt that it can deliver phenomenal revenues and earnings right now. So what's the point?

I feel that short speculation on extreme overvaluation makes more sense in the internet arena where earnings are scarce, and investors are discounting revenue growth based on absurd projections from early data. Even though the rapid rises in these stocks is gruesome if you shorted early, a market downturn or even a slight disappointment sends prices crashing to Earth at higher speeds.

However, there is one thing that interests me a great deal about DELL..

Read the DELL threads on all the internet forums (SI, Yahoo, AOL, etc.) and check out investor sentiment.
